Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
- Good understanding of software architecture principals, design patterns and best practices.
- Good proficiency in backend programming languages such as Laravel, NestJS, TypeScript, Nodejs, PHP or similar.
- Good knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and IaC tools (CloudFormation, Ansible, etc).
- Experience in managing a team.
- Willing to be based at Bangi, Selangor
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software projects with urgency while maintaining quality, scalability, and performance standards.
- Handle complex tasks and drive the overall design and architecture of the software maintained by the team.
- Provide guidance, conduct code reviews, and help junior engineers grow their skills. May also be involved in hiring and onboarding new engineers.
- Ensure the availability of technical documentation for the software maintained by the team.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and success.
